Welcome to the Chip & PIN Direct router setup guide! Your router should already be configured to plug and play.. but lets see what should be in the box:
Now as you have a FTTP router, an openreach engineer should have installed an ONT to your premises. It should look like this:
Setting up Plug your router into the wall and make sure the Power light comes on, then connect the WAN socket on your router to the LAN port on your ONT using the ethernet cable. Just look out for the "internet" light on the router turning green and now you're all set!
Wi-Fi Credentials
Your WiFi details should be on a printed sticker on the router itself, unless a member of the team has informed you. If you have any issues just get in touch!
🔧 Should issues arise, sometimes its quicker to solve them yourself. Remember:
Turning the base off and on solves most issues.
Look at your 3 base lights - If any are not lit, the phone will not work.
You can have multiple handsets paired with the same base.. just give us a call if any more are required 😊
